After three decades of being a specialist in vintage photographs, primarily those taken and printed between the 1840’s and the early 1900’s. I have now moved into contemporary photography with an interest in where the medium is going and different ways of viewing photography. As a gallery I am interested in testing the accepted narrative around what a photograph is and how it is traditionally viewed.

I am actively buying all exotic and eclectic early vintage photography that might be considered out of the ordinary, always looking to acquire new albums and single photographs from the 19th century. I also carry out professional appraisals of private and institutional collections (previous appraisals include major UK and US collections).

Based in Sussex, England you can also find me at many of the major Photo Fairs and Antiquarian Book Fairs around the globe.
